This plane has been overflying the area of the protest for a very long time. “XB” registration stands for private, non commercial use... so it could be anyone. I can hear helicopters nearby but I can’t see them here.

Protests against police brutality are popping up here, with a particular fixation with the US embassy and the Representation of the state of Jalisco in Mexico City.

Why Jalisco? Around a month ago municipal police in the metropolitan area of Guadalajara murdered an unarmed man after they supposedly arrested him for not wearing a facemask in public (as obligatory in that state), the person that was assasinated by police was called Giovanni, and his death along with reports that the mayor of the municipality tried to bribe them, along with the protests and riots occuring in the US sparked a movement in Jalisco.
Now the protestors, which originated in the US embassy on Paseo de la Reforma avenue are heading to Ruben Dario street in the neighboring borough to protest in front of the state representation.

Lets see what happens, it seems like a lot of the protestors might be violent, and if they are it will make the protest a lot harder to manage. If the Mexico City police fucks this one up, the city might experience some strange days ahead.
